Not enough people clocked this screenshot in the trailer for GM Connected. "teams without a human user cannot be controlled, traded with, or played against" So in other words they have again rendered the mode useless and very few people will play it, again.

Yeah, if its not a human team, it's not in the Connected Franchise. Plus no Draft because of that. .

Oh YIKES. What is the point of an online franchise mode then? A huge part of franchise mode is interacting with OTHER teams in the league. Limiting that interaction to only player controlled teams is just.. SO dumb. It would make leagues where you only have a friend or two to play with so pointless, that you might as well just play head to head against them instead.
I will happily be staying on NHL 25 this year. Again. Unless EA got around to fixing menu responsiveness and load times in this game, I'm not going to be interested in buying. It's a shame that my refusal to purchase won't matter because whales drop huge money on HUT.
