Hey there. Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to give you some more details on your issues.
The LT is way too powerful.
Yes. We would all love to see this addressed and changes have been made to make it easier to knock these players off the puck. The thing with LT/L2 is that it's a crucial part of pivoting. We have to be very careful about the changes we make to it because they will also be felt when using it normally. So, this would have a very negative impact on transitioning to backskating and anything vision control related.
Poke checks? Brutal. You time it perfectly, poke the puck clean, and somehow it still ends up right back on the opponent’s stick nine times out of ten. There’s no reward for good defensive play anymore — just frustration.
I know you're all tired of hearing this. Poke checks are being investigated. I wish I had more I could share, but we'll have to wait for news to come on this. I personally wouldn't call them brutal, but they could use a boost. Using the Stick em up XF has helped a lot for myself.
And don’t even get me started on the hip checks. They’re still overpowered as hell. You barely touch someone and they go flying like they got hit by a truck, even when your player’s half the size.
I feel like hipchecks are in a much better place than they were with 25. They were heavily exploited then. If you have any video showing this being abused, feel free to post it.
Again, thanks for the feedback. It's very much appreciated.
