This is an player featured in 2 other modes, 2 ahl games down already? This is bs. Totally unfair, great job letting fans down guys.

We have limited rights as to how he can be used in the game. This isn't something we have any control over.

Eiserman, although drafted by the Islanders in 2024. He didnt sign an entry level contract until Mar 26. As well as an AHL contract around the same time. Walstrom signed a 3 year entry level contract in 2019 with the Islanders. Not sure where your headed with your complaint. Unless a player is under a contract recognized by the NHLPA. He is ineligible to be used by EA in their game. Being drafted, doesnt make them eligible, until a contract is signed, allowing them to  play in either the NHL. AHL or ECHL. 

dogheels​ I was referring to the fact that Wahlstrom was in an AHL lineup under a PTO and not tied to an NHL contract, just like Eiserman. I’m aware that Wahlstrom is a licensed NHLPA player and can be used in the game. Eiserman signed his entry-level contract on March 19 and made his AHL debut on March 20, so I don’t know what you’re talking about.

As of now, he has played two AHL games in a licensed league and is already being used in two other modes. EA was given advance notice about this, and ever since his WJC card was released in HUT, people have been asking to be able to use him offline. The response has been along the lines of, “As soon as he has an NHL contract or has played an NHL game, he can be used.” The AHL was also brought up, and the same answer was given.

So you don’t think it’s strange or poorly handled by EA not to make sure he could be added to the AHL lineup? I do. That’s why my complaint and disappointment are completely valid.

Not sure how long you have been playing this game. But do you think a player who signed an entry level contract in March. Is going to be put into the game. The devs have finished with this game at this time, and have moved on to 27. Any updates are of insignificance regarding graphic changes. And just to be clear. My reference Mar 26. Referred to March of 2026. Not Mar 26. Either way.  Regarding Walstrom. Perhaps you should have made your point a little more precise, time wise. The way i read it. It almost seemed like Walstrom recently signed. I do understand your dissapointment. But like i said. Graphic changes in this game usually are finished come the new year. Not saying your point isnt valid, but EA pretty much gives up on the game after it hits the market.

I’ve been playing and have been dedicated since 2014, HUT and Franchise Mode, so I think I know how EA operates.

Last year, for example, Ivan Demidov, Ryan Leonard, and Gabe Perreault signed their contracts and debuted late, Leonard in March, Perreault and Demidov in April (!!!) and they were included. That’s why I don’t understand their reasoning.

It feels like, because he has a face scan, unlike the others (who haven’t even gotten their own player headshots in the game yet, which is honestly unacceptable), they’re deliberately dragging it out until 27, while still happily using him online in HUT, because that’s where the money is.

There is nothing deliberate. This is a licensing issue.

EA_Aljo​ Yeah, and not getting player headshots in for players that start the year on the NHL roster is probably also licensing right? Or laziness? Ea could 100% get the licens for this stuff and provide actual updates and realism to the game if they would like to, and not abandon the game asap it drops. This was not that big of an problem in the older games 2016-20, top 4-5 drafted rookies got their headshot and face in, even if they stayed in juniors or ahl. Last year 1st overall and generational talent Celebrini went the whole year without his scan or player headshot, that was unacceptable and pure laziness.
