I’ve been a long time player and I’ve always thought there should be banner hangings and ring presentations following a year when you win the cup. Also, an option to retire a number for your team if a legend retires and deserves it. Is this something that could be added in to the game?
Franchise mode and Be a Pro has so much potential for cool stuff EA could add (like they did pre-NHL 15). But the clear focus from them is microtransactions. The evidence: full page popup when going to main menu begging for our money. But I do agree that banner hangings either after a cup win or retirement of a franchise player would be so cool.
