Haven't seen a single person use the backwards toe drag which killed the manual spin. They just keep ruining the skill stick.

Still would like this added back.
Spin isn't super useful when you don't have any clue which direction you'll spin

Which direction you spin is determined by the direction you're skating. I see people use this frequently. I use it myself occasionally and it always spins in the direction I want it to. You're always welcome to get some video to show us what you're experiencing. Thank you.

That's simply not true.
Skating in the same direction will trigger both spin animations. Take your own video

I am always skating at an angle when I use this. Not straight into someone since I'm trying to get around them. When going at an angle, the right spin direction is always chosen. I'm not spinning opposite my momentum.

The fact that you had to preface it by saying "at an angle" tells you all you need to know. Another change that's taking control out of the players hands. Bring back the manual spin and get rid of this useless new toe drag.

This is how I have always done spins. I'm not skating head on. I'm skating to the side of them because it's harder to defend. You spin around them rather than straight into a defender.
Thanks for the feedback on this and toe drags.
