I'm not sure I think either of those things are bad. It's just that they are too game-changing. Xfactors do differentiate players and that was their goal.. that being said when you get +100% speed to a back hand or speed boosts for X,Y, and Z it becomes looney tunes. If they dialed those back a bit it would be better. Full pressure I've never liked. I do like that with it came penalizing teams that would try to rag the puck behind their goal to kill time or get an odd man rush. The ideas behind it were good, the problem again was just how it was implemented. Throwing the puck on net as soon as you get in the zone shouldn't fill the meter much. When it fills the punishment shouldn't be so drastic. The stamina drain shouldn't be so bad. As of now if you get full pressure against you, you need to take the puck out of the zone, get it past the red line and punt it away and give them another possesion because your stamina can't get you into their zone. It does sometimes work in ways it should.. lots of good shots on net, getting lots of passes, getting the puck in dangerous places. I like that it can reward teams for playing well. We see people show clips and stats of having several shots on goal, good passing etc. and not being rewarded. This is essentially how they chose to do that. Sometimes it does work this way. It seems more often we see it not work the way I believe they intended. They just take everything too far.
