Reactions to Gameplay Deep Dive Video

Still watching, but it seems like an upgrade to what was previously there. Some changes were things people were asking for. What are your thoughts on this?

Faceoffs, board play, dump and chase are all huge real life aspects of hockey that haven't been touched in years. Boardplay is nearly non-existent and needs an overhaul, faceoffs need a rework to really highlight the battle for the puck, and dump and chase goes hand in hand with the boardplay. . Those are a few that have been ignored for quite some time.

Additional defensive tools are needed as well as the stick lift, poke check still feel hit or miss without full control to make an impact. Pressing A(X) to stick lift seems like a lottery half the time even while in proper positioning.

That's all very fair. It would be great to see more about these aspects of gameplay. The trailer is highlighting new features, but I'd love to hear more about changes to existing features.
