Signs of the downfall of EA NHL franchise game

I think the reason why I do not see it on the EA App is because it is not available as a PC version. But I still wait till (or better if) it will become available as a GamePass Ultimate game.

Trust me, they are doing you a favour. NHL 26 is the worst game of the series. I’ve played the series since 92. This game is down right embarrassing. If you don’t believe me look through some you tube reviews. 2014 was the last decent game but it’s been downhill since. I usually shut the game off after a few games, just frustrating to play, sad to see. 

Yesterday I played online and both our jerseys were the same colour of yellow with the same colour of pant.

Micro transactions and greed by the devs killed this franchise. Again, if you don’t believe me just research it online, look at the microsoft store reviews, you tube reviews, lots of reviews in this forum. Save your money and time m, it’s not fun. At all  

It usually 6 months after the release of the game when it goes on EA Play via gamepass. So Id guess some point in March you will see it added. 

Sure, this franchise game has a ton of problems and I already saw and read some reviews as well as many posts in here. I still have a shimmer of hope, that the new ownership of EA might eventually set their developers back on track, but I would not bet even the smallest amount of money on that. Since I have a GamePass Ultimate subscription I would still prefer to play NHL 26 instead of NHL 25 even when I use the subscription mostly for other games. We will see, where this series is heading but it might need a small wonder to save it. As you wrote, I agree NHL 2014 was the climax of the series and it went down ever since. Not too optimistic but hope dies last.

We need NHL 26 on Game PAss

They just wait until the end of the regular season, just like they did last year when it was released in April. This franchise blows. I used to love it so much. I'm still even thinking of stupidly renewing my Gamepass for a few months while it's relevant so I can play it on Cloud Gaming. I just wish they'd put it out for PC, I'd be a day one sucker every year again.

At the very least can they make a game that isn’t sluggish af in the menus. No, can’t even do that in 12 years

Nhl 26 is considered as a niche game, by gaming reviews. It is also the 190th most played game of EAs inventory. So you can judge by those #s, just how well the game is accepted as worthwhile.
