Slowly becoming pay to win

Title says it all.

Some of the new premade builds coming out are just too good. Jean Spectre Sniper anyone? What a joke.

They are slowly making this a pay to win in WOC but are doing it very sneakily. Well maybe not so sneakily if you have half a brain.

I've been playing World of Chel since NHL '09 and if this continues, I can no longer grudgingly buy the game year after year.  It's gone too far now.

The broken match making. Broken defense. Broken forward skating. Broken menues. Meaningless updates. Fortnite style garbage. The list goes on and on. This franchise is a complete joke and desperately needs new direction and leadership. Unfortunately it won't happen.

So you're saying it's totally cool for EA to introduce all these new builds and put a $30+ price tag on them? Some are OP. Some are trash. But the point remains.

No. I never said this. I was saying that no matter the build, it can be defended. They are only as good as the person controlling them and the team defending them. I've said many times I'm not a fan of these builds. They don't bother me being in the game though since they've been very beatable.

Why do 50% of the lobbies crash?

I'm no stranger to the occasional lobby crash. 50% is pretty high though. But, my club also knows to get their loadout editing done before matchmaking starts so it's not so much an issue. Still though, I'd love to see the lobby crashes handled.

As I said. This is just the beginning. We'll revisit this a year from now when competitive clubs feel the need to splurge on these builds to remain competitive. It's already happening actually. I see more and more of my elite comrades throwing down $ for the Jean Spectre build in particular.

A skilled club doesn't need these builds to remain competitive.

The Jean Spectre is by far the best one. Some are garbage.

It's disgusting. When you guys can't even get lobbies working properly. Why is it 2 years later I still hear random people from other lobbies? Why do 50% of the lobbies crash?

No let's not fix these glaring issues and instead make some super builds and charge the customer for them.

This team desperately needs new leadership and a new direction. But it won't happen, therefore this is the last one I purchase.

What mode are you playing in WoC? I pretty much only play 6v6 (5s/6s) and have had no problem going up against people using pre-made builds. It's rare any of the regular people I play with are using them. We very frequently beat teams, or at least have a competitive game, against clubs using them. My point is, regardless of using pre-made builds or not, it's more about the skill of the individual players and their chemistry as a team. Possibly, it would be more challenging in 3s though. Regardless, if you can get some video showing how those builds are unfair, it would be good to see it.
