The hockey community deserves better
For about a decade this game has been simply not good enough. Every year there seems to be a new gimmick to give hockey fans false hope that maybe it will be better. Unfortunately it seems the new gimmicks don’t get play tested and they are overpowered. It seems the dev team is seeking short term monetary gains from HUT over building a game that the fans want.
Trust me I get it making these games is a huge undertaking it takes a lot of time money effort and skill. I think it’s time for change either EA needs to give up on the NHL titles and let someone else take over or you need to build a new game from the ground up and build it the way it should be which is hockey first.
the sad thing is EA knows it’s not good enough the game hasn’t been rated above 1.5 stars in forever now the only conclusion is they don’t care. Most of the game modes are half baked the ui and ux is borderline unusable. 30 minutes of play exposes issues that shouldn’t even make it to release.
EA if you guys want suggestions or care to actually hear what I’d change reach out and I can give you a list but I don’t think you need that I think you just actually need to read the feedback we’ve been giving you for years.
