I don't play online I just play Be A Pro but I will say that you are right on the X-factors. I play an enforcer defenseman and out of 11 X-factors, 8 were geared to offense. why would an enforcer, whose job is to punish the opposition and fight, need big tipper or wheels, or elite edges, or even big rig (I'm not 'driving to the net')? if you play defense then ALL your X-factors need to be geared to defensive abilities. now if your a mix between offense/defense (power forward or 2-way D) then it should be a mix but not both wheels/elite edges AND truculence and some of the other checking abilities. like even if you have them all in the X-factor selection menu, if you choose say wheels then truculence and other hard hitting abilities are grayed out and you cannot select them. something like that. its so difficult in BaP with computer AI, I can't even imagine playing with human players who learned all the exploits to scoring goals which this game is geared to anyway in any game mode

Community ManagerYeah, that's a different experience than what I'm having because I don't play BaP. I imagine I'd be having similar frustrations. Hopefully, we'll see changes made to this mode. I know various issues are being investigated.
well hopefully y'all have someone playing BaP from start to about 40 games in and you will see what I'm talking about. just played a game and got a B+ in overall coaches score (100% in teamplay, 74% in defense, and 63% in offense) but only got an 88 form score for that game so I lost 6 points in delta which lowered my chapter form score from 100 to 96. doesn't seem that bad right? wrong, I had 7 shots on goal and 9 hits (should have been more but for some reason some just 'shrugged me off'). I've come to learn that the highest you can get in the coaches overall score is B+ unless you score a point. plus the fact that you lose more coaches points for things you do wrong than what you get when you do things right. the game is so geared to score points it is so pitiful. after that game I had my 20 game eval. after the press conference, a guy started talking and said in essence, I'm mediocre, not outstanding but not bad, and that I need to 'step up my play to the next level'. for pete sake, as far as team stats go, I'm first in assists, points, +/-, and hits. how much more can a defenseman give? score goals is how which is bull crap. heck as far as the whole NHL goes, I'm tied for 9th in points (lot of people) and there is only 2 defenseman in about 20 players and I'm one of them. and I'm tied for 6th (lots of people) in assists, and again out of about 25-30 players, there are only 2 defenseman and I'm one of them. yea the game of hockey is to win by scoring goals, but most of that is the 3 forwards job. the 2 defenseman are for DEFENSE NOT OFFENSE. yes they can help in offense but their primary job is protect you net.
