Why is form score only linked to points?

I don’t understand how I’m supposed to stay on the first or second line when only points count toward the form score. Even with the lowered score requirement, it’s still unrealistically hard to satisfy the coach. I played two games with zero points but earned B- and B overall grades, and they still counted as zero points on the form score. In the third game, I had an assist with a B+ overall, and suddenly it counted as 100 score?
First off, it doesn’t fit my player type to be asked to score points every game. Next, how am I supposed to rack up points when teammates miss wide-open nets or take slapshots one foot in front of the goalie after being set up on a breakaway? Offensive plays are nearly impossible with the bad AI that dumps the puck even when there are two good passing options.
I bought NHL 26 only because of the BAP update, but it’s just a reskin of the same problems we’ve had before. And what a huge letdown that the tunnel entrance, which was so heavily advertised, only appears once.
I’m really disappointed.
