The biggest problem with matchmaking is the ranking points system. No ranking points, no problems. There is a pattern as well: you start unranked and get matched with gold to platinum. Once you are ranked, you get matched with silvers, no matter if you are silver or gold. When you hit platinum, chances of getting matched with +/- 500 RP are almost zero. Only silvers or unranked is what you get. I cant say what comes next, cause its 900 points to purple. 26 had no finals so far, but in 25 the first round opponents were unranked to gold. In the second round 90% blue and purple. And... Let's not forget the fact, that when you have a league title game you'll most likeley get the best that's available up to elite 1. As always: my and my teammates opinions. But one thing for sure: RP means: the bank wins 🤫😉 or +70 -500 ...
