WoC sucks!!!

AI sucks for sure, but unfortunately WOC is not built with the AI's synergistic play in mind. It is built for 6v6 play only and even that can struggle at times.  That all said, versus an AI goalie just do a stride deke to the backhand and shoot. It is basically an automatic goal with enough practice.  15 min in training getting the muscle memory down should be all you need to figure it out.

I don't often defend this game, but lets use some logic..

Does this mean they are stopping you everytime or they are allowing goals everytime?

Either way.. 3 answers to this. You can either stop allowing breakaways if you're having a lot scored, or practice them if you are having trouble with them. There are a plethora of eas to score on them that take almost 0 skill. Then, again of they're being scored a lot... the best thing you can do.. find a human goalie. If every EASHL team had a human goalie this game would be a whole lot more fun.. unfortunately playing goalie in this game is a pretty miserable experience (imo)

"AI players only play well for opponent teams"

Your AI is also the AI of the opponent team for the opposing team, no? So is your AI is also good or is their AI also bad?

The truth is somewhere in between. Typically the AI is extremely good at puck pickups, puck tracking, sucking in rebounds, picking off passes, guarding someone from a 1T. Then they are extremely bad at preventing a breakaway or positioning (if your defensive setup is different from what they expect (their coding)) 

Two ways to prevent this, either start trying to play defense correctly/ shift their defensive strategies to fit what you're doing.. OR what I suggest.. get a full team of humans because that's the way this mode is intended to be played. 

Lastly your player has max speed.. but other players are faster.. this is only happening to you and no one else? How was your energy, how was the pressure, how were the xfactors being triggered? So many things come into play with speed. Logically just like the last one, it doesn't make sense that only you or your team is having this issue. 

Bro for real. They tried to slow the game down this year and everybody still managed to find out how to scrape max speed together and that’s all they need to win. Just speed. Because every breakaway is 99% chance a goal. So dumb.

OP suggested he is using max speed himself?

While I would like to see some type of goalie RNG or team strategy slider so that people can't simply use the same breakaway move 100% of the time, I think some of it is on the team to prevent breakaways in the first place. Anytime my club gives up a breakaway we put that on ourselves. If one team can get breakaways the other can too, those need to be prevented. You can also get a human goalie who is far better at preventing breakaways but not always as good at preventing standard shots. 

As a small positive.. i almost like that goalies are so bad at preventing them, it gives human goalies a chance to compete. Goalies are just extremely rare and the goalie system feels like it is as outdated as the fighting system. 

Where are all these human goalies (let alone actual good ones), people keep talking about lol?

What an absolute slog of a position to play in my opionion. I dont care if they crank limb speed to lightspeed levels, give us some VR support and maybe it'll be fun to try.

I can't speak for 6's but in 3v3 I highly recommend getting a stay at home defenseman, no offensive D, no two-way (even though it's a surprisingly good build for what it is), a DD with quick pick and hopefully a modicum of speed
