Chel Matchups/Divisions Broken

My friends and I enjoy playing chel.  We started in '24 where we won probably one out of four games.  We're not great but we give it our all every time and we don't quit thinking that division 10 is where we need to be to play people like us. 

26 came around and we got it.  Just over 100 games in and our win rate is 8%.  We are all silver twos and threes.  I notice we constantly playing platinum and diamond teams.

What are they doing in division 10?  Are we doing something wrong?  We get blown out anytime they are on a team.  They will weave and dodge their way into the net and anything we do is wrong. I know, get better right?  How when we collectively spend 70% of our time defending?  

EA... FIX YOUR DIVISION MATCHMAKING.  I'VE HAD ENOUGH.

    Thanks for the fast response.  I'm urging the EA team to come up with a quartile grouping solution.  Let us low levelers have the option to match with div 7-10 teams so the match quantity opportunity is sufficient which should cut wait times.

    I'm perfectly fine waiting 2 minutes for a match for a game that takes 15 if it means we have a chance.

    Most of us are chasing the time and bonding with friends that comes with chel and I'm ready to give it up altogether.

    Hello. Division rank isn't considered during matchmaking. You can face anyone from any division. Most likely having this feature would mean longer searches. I know some of you are fine with that to get a better match. Hopefully, we see that as an option in the future.
