The CPU in NHL26 Is Literally Cheating…
I’ve owned this game for about two weeks now along with my new PS5 Pro; and when I first started using it, the gameplay was just WAY too fast. I turned down a few settings related to game speed and skating speed. Everything was working fine and normally. I went into season mode and noticed some settings went back to default so I changed them to where I had them again. If I remember correctly, it was after that when the cpu just completely broke… the apposing team always seems to be super buffed. The Defense and offense is just absurd. And for my team they’re always scoring into my net (I always play goalie), always turning the puck over. They rarely ever set up plays to score goals, they seem rather lazy and clumsy, the ref is only calling penalties against my team and often it’s for checking and when replayed the missed the other player… no penalty on the other team when they do stuff. when my team isn’t messing around and tries to go on the attack, the apposing Defence just kinda surrounds the person with the puck making it impossible to shoot or pass. I can go on further but idk what the issue is. Idk if it’s a bug in settings or the cpu bugging out or both. I went back to the ‘play now’ and tried it out of seasons mode to see if that would fix it. It didn’t. And it even seems as if the settings no longer have any affect. I’ve resorted to switching sides and doing so mirrors the affect over to my team giving them the advantage. I turned cpu difficulty up and down. Same with AI learning and they don’t seem to do anything. In fact most of the gameplay sliders now have no affect. I uninstalled the game and deleted all saves, reinstalled it and everything is back to default and still no fix. It’s getting kind of annoying now. LOL.Cloud gaming & controller lost issues
Playing the game through cloud gaming on xbox one. In the past week there has been many times in cloud gaming when I get notification of bad network for couple of secs then gameplay returns. When returned it is 50/50 if the controller is still working. My network is fine and I have tried to repowering the controller and plugging it in but nothing works. The outcome is that I get disconnected from the game because I cant move the player. After returning to the menu, the controller suddenly works again. This is very frustrating to lose rank because of a bug.Opponent quit while I was leading. no rewards
I’m reporting an issue that just happened to me in NHL 26 HUT, and I strongly suspect it might be an exploit or cheat used by my opponent to avoid losses. I was leading the game when the opponent suddenly quit mid-match. Normally, when an opponent quits, the remaining player is automatically awarded a win and the corresponding rewards. However, as soon as the game returned to the menus, I was greeted with an error message saying Can't relegate at this rank. As a result of this I did not receive any XP or coins for the win. My Ranked standing/points (CR) did not increase at all. It was as if the match never even happened, despite me leading before they quit. It seems highly likely that the opponent used some sort of connection manipulation or "glitch quit" exploit to leave the match without registering a loss, effectively keeping their record clean while robbing the winning player of their rewards. Has anyone else encountered this specific "Can't relegate" error after an opponent quits? Is EA aware of this possible exploit?Can’t get into WoC
I’ve tried everything I play NHL 26 and I can’t get into World of Chel but I can get into every other mode I have tried to clear everything and turn the internet off nothing works I was playing just fine the other night then this happened. Error codes show up that say cannot retrieve inventory at this time and I’m just trying to play ChelWorld of chel games crashing
I was playing an EASHL game and was winning 9–3 when I suddenly received an “UNEXPECTED ERROR” message and was kicked back to the main menu. This happened during an active game with no warning. I was unable to finish the game or receive the result. Game mode: EASHL / World of Chel Platform: Xbox Score when error occurred: 9–3 Error: “An unexpected error has occurred. You will be returned to the main menu.” I’ve attached a screenshot of the error. Please investigate whether this is a server/EASHL issue and whether the game result can be recovered. Grooves finest. Hi EA Team, I noticed that the roster for the newly promoted SHL team, IF Björklöven, is completely incorrect in the game. The current players do not match the real-life roster at all. For example, key players like Lucas Wallmark (C), Robin Kovacs, Phil Di Giuseppe, and some more are missing or have wrong data. Could you please look into this and update the roster for IF Björklöven in the next official roster update? The jerseys and team assets for IF Björklöven in the SHL are currently incorrect in the game. It looks like generic templates or outdated designs have been used, while the other 13 SHL teams have accurate jerseys. Since Björklöven is a fully licensed SHL team this season, could you please update their home and away jerseys to match reality in an upcoming patch? Thank you!Toxic goalie pulling not kicking dropin
I have in a video behavior from teal on our team username [REMOVED]. I'm not sure where else to post this EA_Aljo if there's a better spot let me know. Yes we all reported him but there's only offensive content options. And honestly being able to pull the goalie this much as a drop in should be considered a bug. This player got matched into our 4-stack. For no reason started insanely toxic stuff. Pulling goalie all game, forcing offsides, spamming team settings, stole the pause timeout for no reason. This was unprovoked so either it was a plant from the other team or this kid was losing his marbles, but we lost as you will see in the vid because of his behavior. There needs to be a way to kick players who force pull goalies, it should be easy to track.. no? IMO it's a bug that a player can do this. This needs a way to be prevented, at the very least I hope he can get punished through here. Edit: Removed player ID. I have the correct amount of 99X collectibles, and it will not let me insert the last 3I go to search for him in the set section and they're not there. But in my team, a player items and whatnot, I go to the collectible section and I have the three right there. But I can't put them in the set.Black lines all over during game play..!
NHL 27 – Black Lines Appearing Across Screen During Gameplay I’m experiencing a major graphics/rendering issue in NHL 27 on Xbox Series X. During actual gameplay, black lines appear across the screen/ice and are also visible during highlight/replay sequences. The issue happens consistently and is not specific to one camera angle. I have tried multiple camera angles and the black lines appear with all of them. I have also completely restarted my Xbox, but the issue remains. The problem only occurs while playing NHL 27. I do not see these black lines on the Xbox dashboard or in other games. This appears to be a graphics/rendering bug with NHL 27. Please let me know if this is a known issue or if there is a recommended fix. Platform: Xbox Series X Game: NHL 27
Stadium unlock bug
Hello, I would like to report a bug with our World of Chel club in NHL 27. Our club has already reached and exceeded the required level to unlock the next stadium, but the stadium is still locked and we cannot access it. The club level requirement has definitely been met, and the unlock does not trigger. We have already tried restarting the game and checking the club again, but the stadium remains unavailable. Could you please investigate our club and either fix the unlock or let us know if there is a workaround? I can provide screenshots showing our club level and the locked stadium if needed. Thank you for your help.
WoC 3v3 penalty shot desync
There is some issue that causes a major desync and eventual game crash in 3v3 WoC. I have series X but my buddy has the standard xbox. Several times right after a penalty, my buddy get stuck into a super slow motion replay. The rest of us are looking at frozen players on the ice. We can’t continue until the replay completes for my buddy. Things go fine after that but every replay or end of period highlights go super slow for him. Eventually he gets dashboarded as the game crashed .FIX GAME!!!
EA Sports NHL27 is BY FAR... THE WORST F****** GAME THEY HAVE EVER MADE. And they have been missing for (in my opinion) 5 F****** years with this game! STILL CPU teammates are "lost on the ice" [as in no strategy, constantly running into eachother or my controlled player, all grouped up in one location attacking (barely) the puck carrier, opposing CPU team attacks/defends pretty well but my CPU teammates dont, CPU Goalie stops almost everything so you have to get creative with your shots to get a goal but your CPU goalie let's in EVERY easy/fluke goal there is, everytime you sim to the next shift in Be A Pro the opposing CPU team 90% of the time (yes I did the math) scores 9 times out of 10 your team scores ONCE out of 10, still grammar errors and spelling errors in the dialogues/interviews, lose a s*** ton of energy/health from ONE GAME and your Be A Pro player is absolute trash until you gain small amount of energy to get it to at least half energy/health, the hitting is still atrocious in these games (NO ONE CROUCHES AFTER CONTACT), poke checking STILL slows you down while skating (EVEN THOUGH THAT NEVER HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE... and yes I do know, I played hockey all throughout my life, yes, real hockey)..., if you make captain you should be able to pull your own goalie if the goalie is trash (give us more options on/off ice if reach Captain in Be A Pro)...] THIS GAME IS ATROCIOUS. $90 for this bloody game and I wish I can get my money back. This is THE LAST EA SPORTS NHL GAME I WILL EVER BUY... I did that with Madden back in 2018. EA Sports needs to start caring about their consumer and start making NEWER games with care and effort... dont just give us a few new features and call it a new game. This game has been trash since NHL21 with a s*** ton of unrealistic bugs/movements/body mechanics/CPU issues... etc. THIS GAME NEEDS A BETTER UPDATE QUICKLY!Game Still Crashing
Alright at this point I have tried absolutely everything to fix NHL26 from crashing besides buying a new console. I have two Xbox series X’s due to traveling from different states and had this issue constantly on my original Xbox series X. Every game I play besides NHL runs flawlessly and I cannot say the last time it crashed. From playing hours of MLB I believe I have never once crashed mid game. I ended up buying a new Xbox for my alternate location so I wouldn’t have to pack my Xbox whenever I traveled and it is about 4 months old now and am still having the crashing issue on this game. Tonight I tried to play hut and 2/3 games have crashed. One being in the third period and the other one was 2 minutes into the first period. I have gotten my Xbox’s professionally cleaned, purchased an expansion card, upgraded internet, spent hours on threads and many videos on how to fix this issue, and truly seems there is absolutely no fix. I will not purchase another new console as my other one that is only 4 months old has this problem as well. What I have gathered it is something with an Xbox series X and every other console does not have this issue. Ea has no fix or solution to this so I would advise if you only play NHL do not purchase an Xbox series X as this game is literally unplayable on it. Doesn’t matter what mode you play. Doesn’t matter what you do to try and fix it. It will crash non stop. It is so frustrating as truly any other game you play will run with no issues at all. Just don’t waste your time or money trying to fix it. Nothing will work. This issue has been going on for a few NHL year cycles and still no fix.
Bad rule set in season mode
Hello I found bug in season mode. When playing season mode in Czech Extraliga Ledního Hokeje there is game misconduct for fighting but from season 2021/ 2022 there is no game misconduct in extraliga. When i set NHL rules in season settings i still get the game misconduct. Please fix the issue.
Missing Pre-Season Kaapo Kakko
I am so sick of all the glitched out bull you guys keep putting out... seriously give a poop about your customers or give up the monopoly on NHL.. Thanks Now to the subject at hand. Doing sets in hut the get the 98 kaako card and I complete my set get the card then sent to the inbox and then I added it to my collection. I try putting him into the line up and poof nowhere to be seen. You know how much work I had to grind for the 95s that I had put into the set and now they were gone as well.. so I either need all 5 of those cards back so I can try again to get Kaako's 98 pre season card or just the Kaako 98 preseason card in my inventory please and thank you EA.. maybe just maybe you will change my heart with you, if you actually do ur job and get my missing content!!! Opening a pack or buying a player from the auction works but when you send the card into library you lose it. Trying to find bought cards and adding to a set and I cannot find them anywhere. Shop menu looks like there is unhandled number of cards or packs but when going through the menu, an error pops up. Other issue is that when you complete a set, used players still exist in library collection. How is possible that these kind of bugs still exist when this game is almost a year old?
