I have the same problems just with the standard franchise. No custom rooster or nothing. I always sim the regular season and play the playoffs. But all of the sudden everything frozen. Can't even leave franchise mode, can't do anything at all. So five seasons in and finally got a team that would win the cup and it is all lost

Is it happening with a grudge match?
Yes, when i get to the a grudge match, the statistics window to the right is just gets gray and i can't do anything at all.
And yesterday i tried to create a new franchise and start over and it happened in the 2nd season. Last time a plats four and a half season.
But both times it froze was on a grudge match

This is one of the issues we're investigating. Hopefully, it'll be addressed in a future update.
