Alumni players

Is there a way to get them that I’m missing? I’d like to make Lindros but can’t find a consistent way to even get the cards required. Are they just randoms that you may get in any pack kinda thing or am I missing something. I need three 84-85 alumni and aside from auctions I’m having trouble getting them. Is there a mode I should be doing that would increase my chances?

I think it's random which doesn't make sense. There should be exchange sets for alumni only. I don't understand why EA wouldn't include that, especially since they already knew how getting heros or icons will work.
