Card Longevity and Salary Cap Balance

Am I the only one that feels like this BND card set for Dougie Hamilton was a complete waste of resources? Salary cap seems to be getting better with new chems for Chel week, but why these trade quest cards that are only two weeks old get 4-8M salary range. Chel week is clearly over compensating for the lack of salary, so why not bump these trade quest chems up some. 

I made Dougie Hamilton and can hardly fit him into my lineup. Chems shouldn’t be just a tool for EA to sell/push content but it sure feels like that’s what its purpose is.
