Doesn't EA want us to play their game anymore ?

Today was my first opportunity to play since season 4 started.

I've not enjoyed the salary cap idea at all, having to spend ages at the start of every season sorting out my team. Ending up with the same line combos as everyone else and not being able to play my best players. 

Season 4 line combos and salary cap is a kick in the teeth to those that put a lot of time into the game.  You seriously want us to use base cards in the middle of March?!? 

I'm done with 26, I'm not wasting anymore of my time grinding for players that I can't use. 

This isn't Hockey Ultimate Team anymore. 

Honestly I'm now past being angry about how bad the franchise has gotten , I'm now just sad that I no longer have a hockey game worth playing after 30+ years of it being a big part of my life.

    It's sad, but I came to a similar conclusion. I was playing this game since decades, but I will no longer invest time into it, till they get it back on track and till there will be a PC version. I was waiting for NHL 26 to come to the CloudGaming on GamePass Ultimate, but I gave up hope, they will bring it. So let's hope the new ownership will guide their developers to bring it back to the peak level it had back in 2014.
