EA sports - matchmaking issue

The one positive here is that it gives me a clear decision on whether or not to purchase NHL 27 and pre-order the deluxe and that clear answer is obviously not. You think I’m gonna pre-order and pay a premium price to be abused by these greedy, stupid developers no no no no no no no no no I’ll wait till Black Friday again get it for $30 and never spend another penny because that’s apparently what you want 

Another day of quitting over and over again because every matchup is unfair Great maybe I’ll get suspended again for the fifth time this year

One of the big issues is just lack of transparency they want to secretly screw everybody right their goal is that everybody has to play a super competitive match against another person or against the CPU every single game that’s their goal and that’s a really awful goal. The goal should be to provide the best most fun experience. That’s what gets people engaged in spending money.. why do we have to continue to face unfair matchups when you can just simply show the rank and the skill and the overall rating of the matchup before accepting so that way hey this is the only game we can find you it gets it’s against the number one player in the world. Are you interested? Absolutely not I’ll wait. I’ll wait until I get a fair matchup. OK my teams in 88. Do you wanna play this 98 team no no I don’t. That’s not Fun. That’s not fun and I’m not doing that all it’s gonna do is quit right so now you’re affecting both sides. Everybody gets a bad experience not just the low level players, but the high-level players as well because who wants to constantly have your opponent quit and then not to mention these people keep getting better rewards and better rewards and better rewards so it’s just it’s it’s it’s like a reflection really on life the way that they do this they keep the poor low-level people suppressed down and then give all the benefit benefits to the high-level wealthy elites 

The main Takeaway here is the complete and utter incompetence from the developers to fairly match players probably because they have such a small player base because they push everybody away from the game through unfair discriminatory practices. If it was up to me, the entire development studio would be fired and replaced and maybe we could finally get a good experience and a good game 

this is exactly the reason why I always wait until Black Friday and get the bargain bin $30 price and then that’s it. I never spend another penny on the game. They think they’re going to somehow manipulate me into spending money that’s never gonna work. It’s just the opposite the way into my wallet is fun. OK it’s fun and I’ll give you a great example. Take a game like Call of Duty® Black ops two or Black ops one I would’ve given them my credit card and said here just just take it. Give me everything because I loved the game right I loved the game therefore I spent money on all of the extra stuff and I would’ve bought more if it was available and I would’ve still played that game for a long time after the fact, if it wasn’t for hackers, but you get my point, you make a great game that’s fun that people wanna play and people wanna invest in that’s how you get people’s credit cards not with this method OK and having players like Jake DeBrusk who’s got millions of dollars to blow on this game and you know treating your average person like on that level like they’re gonna spend $100 to get a pack that has a 25% probability I mean it’s just completely insulting. It’s a joke and this game will never ever reach its potential until this is addressed. 

The other thing is, we know that these awful hateful discriminate developers will penalize you if you can’t get a clean zone exit right so if you know, they refuse to change your lines so that your whole team is tired, giving the other team a huge advantage they just won’t change your lines so if you go behind your net and change your own lines, then they give you a skating penalty so you can’t move giving the other team a huge advantage. This is already on top of an unfair matchup I mean, what is wrong with these sick sick people why are they doing this to the customers

this is the experience at least 90% of the time it really doesn’t matter what game mode because every game mode is basically the same,  I guess the only game mode that isn’t like this is wild card because that’s usually three V3 and it’s a little bit more casual and the games aren’t as competitive. I’m also seeing this frustration in cup Chase I don’t understand if they’re tuning the AI to be extremely difficult to stop people from getting rewards I don’t understand what’s going on, but basically the matchmaking and the AI is so oppressive that it’s basically unplayable for any anyone who’s not some hardcore expert at the game to enjoy themselves. I understand that it’s competitive but this is way beyond that and very unfair.  I don’t I don’t understand why there isn’t a casual game mode where people can just play and have fun and maybe even there’s like less steaks involved so people are just more casual. I don’t know. If this is their demonic method for trying to get people to spend money, I got news for you. It’s not working and it’s not ever going to work all it’s going to do is frustrate the players, especially people who struggle like this. it’s just gonna push people away from the game and make it even worse. 

You might want to mention whether it's Ranked or Champs.

Ping, region, and cross-play also have an impact.

In Champs, the first 3 games can be against any opponent, after that, you play against opponents in the same record range ... unless the matchmaking takes more than 10 seconds.

And in Ranked, you play against opponents in the same division, meaning they’re at a similar skill level.

The exception is at the start of a new season, when everyone gets 'downranked'
