Again, his speed and acceleration stats are correct. It's +0.5 speed and acceleration per overall, so +6 overall means +3 speed and acceleration. And he has gotten exactly +3 speed and acceleration between 83 and 89 overall.
And no, the speed and acceleration stats on his 85 overall card are not "literally almost the same" as on his 89 overall card. They are closer to his 83 overall card than his 89 overall card. And that's how it should be.
And yes, there are other cards with higher speed and acceleration than Lundell at the same overall, but that doesn't really matter because they are different players. There are also Fantasy Hockey cards (and other cards as well) with lower speed and acceleration than Lundell at the same overall.
I agree that +0.5 speed and acceleration per overall is not a perfect system. But it's the system that EA is using, and therefore the speed and acceleration stats on Lundell's Fantasy Hockey card are correct.
