Game Lag NHL 26 HUT

When i am playing HUT a game will start smooth and then if the play drags along the game lags and gets worse until someone scores a goal. Once a goal gets scored the game stops lagging and builds up again. It feels like it is getting worse and even consistent at this point. The lagging was not happening a couple of days ago. My connection is excellent and have no packet loss. 

Has this happened to anyone else? How do i fix this?
