Game will not survive without a buff to the pokecheck

I am very happy that hits are finally  back as they should be, effective when used properly. However, there is a significant reduction in the effectiveness of pokechecks this year and it is unfortunately making the game far less enjoyable to play. Players who would normally be unable to enter the offensive zone are now scoring goals, despite not making any attempts at avoiding pokechecks that should knock the puck loose. And on top of this, the fact there is still a significant speed penalty on pokechecks is asinine, not to mention the fact that defensive warriors such as Bergeron, Lidstrom, Keith, Barkov and Kopitar do not base their award winning defense on hits, but incidental contact and largery stick checking.

It simply does not make sense for the game for pokechecking to be so weak and disallow defensive plays almost entirely. Hitting is important of course, but pokechecks are simply crucial, they are necessary and they are very much required. They have to be adjusted to be more effective.
