How do you expect us to finish these, when objective says to score with either current or alumni grudge match players and there is zero alumni players in the game/packs? Only way is to buy the players with forced coins usage and not sure how many actually wants to lose coins, for just getting an change of maybe packing an ticket.
Do you people even check out what you publish into the game?
Sorry, but if people still don't understand that EA's main intention is to make money with packs and fodder cards for sets ... maybe they should switch games.
Many of the cards you need are buildable (84/86), otherwise do what everyone else does; buy the cards in the AH and sell them asap to avoid losing coins (or try to sell them overnight for a profit)
But most importantly, these packs aren't worth it, you're not even guaranteed a bronze ticket, save your time
Its this franchises new way of altering team structures, in the hopes that you will spend $, to get players you need to fulfill objectives, or to alter the cap restrictions. Objectives always change, as well as combination boosts.
Why are you acting like the lack of alumni players is preventing you from completing the objectives? It says current or alumni, so you can use current players.
The availability of eligible players is a different thing. It doesn't have anything to do with whether those players are current or alumni. It seems like EA is expecting us to complete the objectives with the MSPs. But 84s, 86s and 87s are also buildable and they include some players that can be used for the objectives. But yes, there could be more buildable cards from the teams that are needed for the objectives.
But as Phasto said, the reward packs don't even guarantee a bronze ticket, so you shouldn't go out of your way to complete the objectives. You should only complete them if you build an MSP or if you happen to get an eligible non MSP card.
Because there are no alumni grudge match players at all and basic alumni does not count. I am not doing set players for any packs (especially for those awful ticket change packs), but also not buying "150k" card for it. Alumni would have helped + i want to play with older players instead of modern and EA greatly screwed up these objectives.
I am simply trying to prevent them to do these and other kind of objectives in the future, as these should be very easy to make and they did them wrong in the first place.
Just out of curiosity, would you have made this post if the bonus objectives didn't say "current or alumni"? There would be just as few eligible cards for the objectives as there are now. Would you still say that we need alumni cards for the Grudge Match event, or would you just say that we need more Grudge Match cards in general?
I totally understand that you want to play with alumni players rather than current ones, but that doesn't make it impossible to complete those objectives. It's just a personal preference.
But just to make it clear, I'm not disagreeing with you at all. I totally agree that EA should make it easier to complete these kind of objectives where the rewards are minimal (but at the same time I know it's not a coincidence that the teams needed for the objectives are the ones represented by the MSPs).
I just don't fully understand why you are making such a big deal out of the lack of alumni cards instead of just talking about Grudge Match cards in general. It seems to me like you're doing it just because alumni players are mentioned in the objectives while there are no alumni cards for the Grudge Match event so far. And I agree that it's strange, but it's not the actual reason why the objectives are difficult to complete. It's current or alumni, not only alumni or only current players. If there is an objective that requires a player from team A or team B, just because you can't get a player from team B doesn't mean you can't complete the objective, because team B isn't the only option.
They’re bonus objectives, with a pretty meagre reward. That being said, you get the Colorado one for completing the base GM objectives, one for using the Dallas 84. The others you can pick up as you build through the set - but not feel too bad if you miss out on any.
