Hut moments need to be fixed

The time limits need to go and the difficulty Sliders need to be adjusted. My kids are 10 and 8 years old. Olay the game on pro difficulty and watched them do these new hut moments is ridiculous. The difficulty is definitely nit what it says it is. The time limits just add to the stupidity of it. Why is a time limit necessary?

Yea we love playing mlb the show and will be playing that when it comes out. They only play cup chase offline. They know not to spend real money and if they even tried my account is password protected. They like the idea of building teams wirh the cards and doing the challenges thats why they play hut

TLDR: I agree with you about the added moments difficulty the timers and situations created. But I would recommend children avoid the online modes.

I'm going to be brutally honest. As a veteran HUT player, I agree.  Since implementing the time limits, moments now take me several attempts and hours where previously I could get most done first try and spend less than an hour on them.  Not having the ability to rely on empty netters hurts.

The Ultimate Team Mode (offered in all EA sports games) isn't built for free-to-play. EA is a for profit company who has said several times on this forum that they have no plans to change.  Ultimate Team, especially in FC, is a big cash cow for them. Additionally the event and set timers create a sense of FOMO and if you don't have the resources to make a card (if you even can at all), you are incentivized to open your wallet or do without.  If your kids are going to play HUT, guard your wallet. Children are more susceptible to the draw of loot boxes/pack pulls.  I'm still trying to break myself from it.

I would recommend children play Season, Franchise, or Be a Pro and avoid the online modes (even CHEL is now pay to win). With Season mode, each player can pick their own team; Franchise they can play together on the same team; and Be A Pro is more of a solo RPG mode. These modes don't require a lot of menu management = more time spent playing games.

If you/they want a more casual, no money spent, player friendly Ultimate mode, I'd recommend MLB The Show's Diamond dynasty.  It has no timers.  You can play at your own pace.  The difficulty of the game changes depending on your own controller slider settings (but MLB has a very steep learning curve).  MLB has a deal with Topps. A lot of the cards use Topps art. Theme teams are viable all year with how their captains work. Most cards can be earned.
