HUT Ranked - explanation

Hi, I would like to ask how are all of you satisfied with ranked matches in HUT? I’m not some good player but in NHL 23 I made it to Division 1 and in 24 I played a lot less and still managed to get to Division 2. I haven’t played HUT in 25. I am currently Silver 3 and dropping to Silver 1 and so on. I cannot get past Silver 3 and sometimes I get an opponent who I make quit in first period but then I get a player who doesn’t allow me to do literally nothing… I feel a big imbalance. Is there any chance to get players from some top tier? Why do I have matches where my players do exactly what I want and then matches where my players are trying to impress figure skating judges and literally can’t even grab a puck?
