Unfortunately, I don't have any other information on why some players are not available in HUT.

Yeah but are they not available to the team, or are they just not available to us because they don't happen to have a HUT card?

Can you at least let us know if it's technically possible for Backstrom to get a HUT card at some point? I'm not asking you to tell us any details on future releases, but if there is something that prevents the team from giving him a HUT card, it would be nice to know so that people don't need to keep waiting for him to get a HUT card if he can't get one for some reason?

I don't see why it wouldn't be technically possible. There's just always more involved with who gets an item in HUT.
