Physics in this game only apply to me and not my opponent …

you really need to fix issues like sticks going through sticks … but it only happens sometimes … my body being in the way of his follow through on his shot should be enough but no , his stick just go...

I don’t even understand net battles

The player you're trying to tie up needs to be almost standing still. Hold down the A/X button when your stick is within reach of them from a good angle and you should tie them up.
