Oh yeah, you're right. That should be removed from the game. Yesterday I had two of those again—I'd rather not write what I think—who used it as soon as they got into the offensive zone. Then I'll stop the game immediately, because those people have absolutely no idea about hockey.

Can we get a response from the devs here?

If we disabled LT/L2, you wouldn't be able to pivot. This is a pretty crucial mechanic so I don't see it being removed. Hopefully, we'll have it tuned better in the future though.

Can you please, at the very least, fix poke checks? They don’t work and it’s impossible to play defense.

Can you please show me a video of where being able to pivot is the only way to play the game or else all hope is lost and you just have to shut it off? You always ask videos from everybody else to prove their point, go ahead and do the same on your end. Myself and plenty of other people are able to play the game without any issues whatsoever without using LT/L2 so please show us how having it in the game, only to get abused 90%+ of the time is absolutely required. Thanks.

Do you play with auto-backskate on? If so, maybe there wouldn't be much of a difference for you. For many of us though, it's crucial that we be able to backskate or just position our player better. Vision Control is an integral mechanic that, if it weren't working, would most likely upset everyone a lot more than the current LT/L2 exploit.

I agree with you that it shouldn't be turned off, we need it. I don't understand why there is an issues addressing it's abuse though, to me it's a simple fix. When LTing with the puck, the skaters balance and strength should be penalized enough to allow a shove to knock them off the puck . Make it a high risk maneuver.
Do not adjust how a player pivots with LT without the puck. I'm going to repeat that because EA has done it in the past. Do not adjust how a player pivots with LT without the puck.
For the most part I think the offensive side of the game, except LT, is fantastic. I think it replicates the real game very well. You have options and I'm happy with that.

If this were the case, it would have been fixed by now.

The simple fix is that pokechecks are buffed to where I can actually poke it off their stick. Doesn't matter if they L2 if they don't have the freaking puck.

Just to chip in, its impossible to play without vision control, which is used with L2. If you are not able to turn on the blue line or make the decision as to when to turn to backskating on defense (vs having it on so you turn automatically), then it would become impossible to play offense or defense. I fully understand why the devs are having issues with not touching vision control while somehow trying to figure out how to stop it from being abused.
