Will Season 1 XP carry over to season 2?

I’ve seen lots on speculation on Facebook groups about Season 1 XP carrying over to Season 2. I personally don’t think it will carry over but I’m hoping someone who knows the answer to this question could provide some insight on this for me.

    Last year xp did not carryover, so I expect the same this year. Apparently one season last year there was a glitch where some people had some xp carry over, so maybe you’ll get lucky. But probably best to plan on an xp reset.
