This wasn't really an issue in previous years, but in NHL 27 the AI goalies in WOC seem obsessed with playing the puck and dumping it out of the zone in needlessly dangerous ways. It's resulting in a higher than acceptable number of penalties that are completely out of the users hands.
This is a typical example. The goalie is under no pressure from a fore-check and has safer options but just hurls it over the glass for no reason.
EA_Aljo This 100% needs fixed. Happens to us at least once every couple of nights we play which is 2 nights a week for about 3 hours. Happened last night again. Its rather annoying to get a pen for something completely out of our control. We only play 3v3 clubs/live events. Happening in both. Not live events as much. Look at where the goalie skates on the ice and the angle he is taking to the boards...notice how the clearing animation looks glitchy.

Wanted to add the AI ability to dump the puck as this is more noticeable in offline or maybe the offline part of HUT. Last year the puck would hit the glass as both the user and AI had been nerfed from getting height when clearing the puck and I noticed very early on that it was reverted for the AI.

I've played about 75 games and seen this happen five times. Most of those games have been 3v3 so it's possible that more room on the ice for the goalie to go wandering is a factor.
I know it may not seem like all that often, but it's basically an unforced, unavoidable penalty awarded to a team a random that doesn't really have a place in online play IMO.
EA_Aljo I made a post about this 20 days ago, with a video clip and you failed to even reply about it.
I have now have this happen in offline games as well.
Is it really an issue you will investigate?
This also goes into the fact that the AI has the ability to clear the puck properly (that was removed/nerfed from player usage due to the pressure system), which I have confirmed is still in effect for users. I'd guess that would be a good place to start on why this happens.

How often are you seeing it happen? So far, I haven't had it occur. Definitely not saying that means there's no issue. Just curious how often it's happening for you so I can also add that to the report. I've only got about 60 games played so far so if you're playing a lot more then I can understand why you're seeing this more often.
