Icon Passing

Is anyone else getting tired of watching Icon passes off breakouts going right past your player who is in the passing lane and making zero effort to intercept the puck because it is auto sauced? I personally think the icon sauce is taking any resemblance of skill out of the game and is basically a get out of jail/forecheck free card. Unless it physically hits your player by accident, you can be in the pass lane and your skater will make zero attempts to intercept the puck. I was hoping quick pick would help with this but even that is not doing it. I have even seen pucks going through my legs to get to the player they passed to.
I don't mind it if they have tape to tape or send it to get the puck through, at least it gives the xfactor some value but anybody being able to just press a button and sauce the puck past the entirety of defense seems wrong to me. I mean these skaters can redirect slap shots but they can't bat down a sauced pass at half the speed probably?

So should sauced pucks only happen through manual aim and xfactors or do you like the Icon sauce ability?
