Could it be possible to also fix the announcers using the correct gender for players?
This is a bit immersion breaking.
Yes and also - there needs to be some human QA on what the AI announcers are saying.
Loaded up a WoC game the other day and the commentary team said "welcome to another eeeshull matchup". They were pronouncing EASHL as a word.

I'm pretty sure "eeshull" is intended as that is what some called it since the pre-WoC days. Not everyone was saying it this way of course. My friends and I would say EASHL, but it wasn't unusual to hear it pronounced "eeshull". Regardless, the commentary obviously has room for improvement. The team is aware of this.

Please let me know which players this is occurring for and I'll get them reported. Thanks!

Thank you. I'll pass it on.

I have never heard anyone call it that outside of you guys, EASHL, club, 6s etc, is what the norm was. Calling it "eeshull" is up there with the horrible rebrand to "World of Chel".

Been playing EASHL religiously since '09 and never once heard anyone ever say that

Yeah, surprised me when I first heard it several years ago or so. Regardless, I'll pass on the feedback, but pretty sure it's intentional.
