NHL 27 Review

I will try and be polite and will state facts. The fact is EA sports has been sued multiple times for anti trust issues and in game mechanics.

 

That said, I feel scammed given  the false advertising with this game that once again schemed me into trusting EA Sports and blowing $100 on this  

 

• The AI and in game mechanics are awful. The playbooks and “authentic” in game, team specific style and strategies are non existant. There is a video on you tube out entitled NHL 27, ea is lying that shows exactly this. This is the least fun i’ve had playing any ea sports game ever, have been playing since 92. How you can not only get away with releasing a game this bad but marketing it as something its clearly not is wild. 
• Some goalie animations make zero sense and allow ridiculously unatural movements and goals that create user frustrations.
• the ai is dumb af. Like absolutely retarted
• The glitch moves like left, right left  goal remain as rampant as ever
• any forward will blow past any defender regardless of the speed differences, an 82 forward will blow past Cale Makar as the defender is suddenly stuck in mud. Fun huh?
• Where is Gavin Mckenna? Only the #1 draft pick and not in the game. No big deal huh?

 

• I saw a you video where your staff/devs  are sitting around talking about how you have to wait until next game launch to attempt to fix things because fixing one thing will break multiple other things. Well maybe if you spent some of f those micro transactional profits on making that game on a proper game engine, not the FPS frostbite engine, you’d be able to properly maintain the game. You’d be able to properly implement HDR and provide proper graphics and game mechanics, not this broken buggy game.
• Ive lost count the number of facebook ffs won in the offensive zone, point takes a slap shot and the puck is on a magnet right onto the defenders stick who takes  it back the other way for the classic glitch goal. No deflection, no realism. Just pre programmed garbage.

• If you think this is hate soeach or promoting negativity, believe me I’m being nice. Enough is enough, i’ve spent thousands over my lifetime on ea products and earned the right to be critical of this blatant neglect of a once great franchise. This game is really fluffed broken  garbage
