Quick thoughts after not playing for a few years
Quick summary: this game is god awful
At this point there's no "tweak" or "adjustment" that can be made, you need to completely revamp everything and start from scratch.
Here are my quick thoughts after playing a bunch of drop-in 3v3 & 5v5 games:
- The game play is slow and boring, and it takes forever to recover when you're tired. It's like playing beer league Hockey with a 2 pack per day smoker.
- Matchmaker only. I will always push for server browser style lobbies, it makes it way quicker to join games when population is low, which it always is in this game.
- Controls & mechanics make no sense. The devs are trying to make this so hyper realistic that they forgot to make it actually fun.
- There's a TON of smaller changes even some nit picky things missing that I could list from the PS3/360 era, which was peak EASHL, but I don't care anymore, this series is beyond repair.
