Series X Frames Dropping after repeated play.

As expected, the same issue seems to be continuing in NHL 27. There have already been several discussions and reports about this problem during NHL 26, but EA has largely overlooked it. They asked for clips showing the issue, and even after those clips were reviewed, they were unable to reproduce the problem themselves. Because of that, no fix was ever made.

One important detail I’ve noticed is that the stuttering often starts during the second game after launching the game. It also seems to be particularly common during the final minute of a period. After that, it can start happening randomly throughout the rest of the game. This pattern has been very consistent.

The next test I’m planning to do is to buy the disc version of the game and see if the issue still occurs. Since I’ve already experienced the stuttering with both the xbox series S and series X, I want to rule out the possibility that there is something wrong with the digital game files.

If the problem occurs with the disc version as well, especially while connected to EA’s servers, that would make it more likely that the issue is server-related rather than something wrong with the actual game installation. Hopefully this can help narrow down the cause, because so far EA hasn’t been able to reproduce the issue themselves.
