WOC 3v3 allow us to play 2v2 if we want.

Played a game last night of CHEL clubs, 3v3. Just me and a buddy, couldnt find a drop in player to fill our d slot.(was pretty late on the east coast) Wait to get in lobby, see the other team is a Center and Wing like us so we say, what the heck, we'll play em. Should have known better. While their ai defenseman played like prime Lidstrom, our Ai D played like a pee-wee in his first season of hockey. The first time going into the o-zone, our ai defenseman literally pushed all the way to the goal line, as the 3rd man in without the puck and pushed forward literally ever time we had possesion of the puck. LOL What are we doing Ea? I even changed all the strats possible to try and tell the ai d to sit back to no avail. We went down 4-1 suffering through the game and eventually decided that one of us would just play defense. Clawed back to lose in OT, but it was not enjoyable what-so-ever and felt like we were 2v3 the entire time. Im so sick and tired of you guys not being able to figure out ai behavior out and in fact manage to make it worse from year to year. I'm not asking for the ai to be overpowered or even play well. But why does one team get an ai that plays better/smarter over the other!?!?!? THEY SHOULD BE THE SAME. If our ai d is dumb enough to be a defenseman looking to play offense, so should the other teams. An easy fix to this would be to allow us to play games 2v2 with no ai d. At least then no one is depending on the braindead and or megamind ai. I'd also like to add that the gameplay during early access is completely different than what we have now. I dont know what has happened but with each tuner/gameplay update you guys are finding ways to make this game less and less enjoyable. There's so much wrong with this game this year its not even funny. The game felt amazing in early access...with each gameplay and tuner update, you manage to make it feel/play worse.

    AI responds to how the humans play. Some people have learned to anticipate how the AI will act in any given situation and adjust accordingly.

    This happens every year. It's not due to tuner changes - I don't think there have even been any significant tuner adjustments this year aside from interference timing and faster getups from big hits. 

    The reason the game 'feels better' during the early days is because with the amount of gameplay changes, there's no META yet. This means people are trying new things, feeling out the new controls, adjusting to new animation and timing - makes everything feel more organic.

    After a month or two, there's a META. The player base adapts to the changes mentioned above, and the grind starts to set in. People are no longer trying new ways to defend or score because they've become engrained in what's worked for them so far.
