I experiencing the same game issue since they changed the engine. Before I didn't have those kind of issue that you reporting. There was some kind of unbalanced game but not at that level. Now all my players are slower or equal to the other opponent player. So it's look like speef of my player doesn't apply. My player are noy able to intercept pass like the cpu of my opponent do. Many time pass of the opponent pass throught my player but if on my side I do that I'm mostly always intercepted. Some game are not able to touch the puck. I have a lot of recordind video showing all those issue. I can't count the number of game that my time of attack was the third or the quarter of my opponent... but sometimes I'm able to win because the opponent is really bad and I fight hard to defend. And as you said I will have a day that I will get a win sequence... but it's not everyday... It seems there people doesn't experiment those issue and there an other group of player having those issue.
Btw I have a crazy good internet connexion. All games I see 5, 6 or 7 ms of ping... so there's something in the code of the game or it's related to server connexion but that's not normal my game is so different when I'm offline... the reaction is what it suppose to be. I don't know if EA will be able to fix that over ther coming years but it become so frustrating over time as every year I buy the game I hope thay it will be fix and I will be able to have a game like nhl 14 to nhl 21. That's probably the only thing we can do... hoping...
