BaP Unable to Save Game

I am playing NHL 22 on XBox One. Problem started about 2 days ago, whenever I try to save a game while in tis mode, an error message displays saying : "Safe failed - Your mode could not be saved bec...

I have 6 total, all in BaP. I deleted all my saves from Franchise mode, and I don't play any of the other modes.

Do you have an external hard drive hooked up to your console?

        Thanks for your attention to this issue.

        I do think the maximum number of saves is 6 since game launch. Given the autosave feature, one hits that cap fairly quickly. The error message is new, however, and means that the only way I can save my progress is to exit the mode. I don't think that's the way it was intended to work.
