Be a Player Puck won't stay on my stick
When the puck is passed to me the puck lust bounces off my stick. I have no control over the puck.

Is this happening with every single pass? Passes are easier to bobble now when they come from angles outside your vision. If you use vision control (LT/L2), you can rotate your player to face the puck and raise your chances of a clean pick-up.

What control scheme are you using? Also, have you tried a different controller?
When you say control scheme do you mean the sliders
