Be a Pro Camera Zoom Always On Option?

I play NHL 19 BaP in the High camera angle, and when I have the puck the camera auto zooms to have the camera face the play, or if I lose the puck after the camera will stay zoomed at the puck until it gets back to facing up the ice. Is there any way to have the zoom always on so I can see the puck/play wherever my player is on the ice? I enjoy playing wing and covering the point while still being able to see the play in the opposite corner, but if that happens right off a faceoff I'll have no idea who has the puck or what's going on.

It depends which console you're on, but on Xbox you can hit the menu button, the one to the left of the guide button with the 2 overlapping squares on it to switch the focus of the camera between the puck and you. If you hold it down for a few seconds you get sort of a hybrid view the zooms out more when you're farther from the puck. I prefer that last option the best since I pretty much play defense exclusively. I believe on PS4 you can tap the touch pad on the back of the controller to do this.

  • Using Overhead camera (with auto zoom) should negate 90% of the need for camera focusing, especially if you play as a defenceman. In any case, the front touch pad for both Xbox and PS should allow for you to switch between the puck and the play with ease
