BE a pro defenseman- sim to shift

Product: NHL 20
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a be a pro with a defenseman. Click sim to shift. Most of the time this happens.
What happens when the bug occurs? When you click sim to shift, the puck is randomly placed in front of the goalie and is automatically a break away for the opposing team. They score some of the times.
What do you expect to see? When I click sim to shift it should be a realistic change, on the break out or when the puck is IN THE OFFENSIVE ZONE. The puck shouldn’t just be placed in front of the goalie when I want to sim to my shift.
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Offline

Is that happening every time you sim to the next shift?

about 60-70 percent of the time. It gets very frustrating to play when this happens.

Is this happening when you skate to the bench, then hit the button to sim to the next shift? At that point, the camera goes to the puck being loose in your zone with an opposing player able to pick it up for a breakaway?

Yes. I go to the bench, click sim to next shift, then it shows the scoreboard and time passing by. Once the game comes back on the puck is placed in front of the goalie for an easy breakaway and the defenseman i go on the ice for just leaves the play to come off the ice for me

It's hilarious, we are on NHL 25, with no changes to BAP in several years, and this glitch still happens nearly every game. All the AI are in weird spots on the ice, half of them t-posing, then puck just goes under goalie's legs while your defender is sitting behind the net. Pathetic from EA, tbh.
