The junior season leading up to the entry draft was vital to this mode. How are scouts supposed to get an assessment of you if you play in 2-6+ games in a tournament?
Why do I get drafted 1st overall playing only 4 games in a tournament?
There’s so many bugs with the conversations and challenges, and milestone/award tracking.
Lots of bugs and missing features. Sorely disappointed.
It was a cool idea and I was really hoping they would do it right. But they just missed the mark.
Not everyone wants to be hyped up right off the bat as “the next generational talent”
It’s more fun to earn your spot. Earn that title of next generational talent.
I would refund this game in a heartbeat if I could, as I only play BAP and FM, with FM also having tons of * bugs and missing features
Totally agreed. Be a pro isn't all about hype of the rookie and be a superstar straight away. I think you need to play and really earn the spot to become a star.. It's not happening with playing few games on a tournament :D.
Really like the idea of new BAP but it's missing a lots of things and have many bugs going on.

This game mode would so so superb if they didn’t remove the junior season. And they didn’t make it super easy to get drafted high.
basically if they kept the punishments of the past few BAP (ie if you’re goalie, you have like 10 games of 3+ goals/below .900, then you get sent down or something) kept the junior season, and the conversations/challenges/milestone awards weren’t so bugged out, this mode would be great.
but as it stands, it’s bad. Just bad.
I shouldn’t be getting more starts over John Gibson on the ducks, when I’m a 76 goalie that constantly has sub-.900sv%. I should be sent down. I should’ve been able to play a full season instead of 2 games in a tournament that determines my draft position.
- @SkylerJames13 They have ruined BaP....completely....Does EA realize how small the percentage is of "superstars"? I like trying to be the best I can be but end up being an ordinary guy who grinds out a career for 4 different teams....That is reality.....Why does the coach call me to the bench to say "win this for the team" when Kopitar is on the ice? an 18 yr old rookie rated 70 is the spark plug? I have 13 points in 30 games......(play 1 sim 3 as I have for every version of the game) My favorite part of the game was the development of my player doing years in the Junior Hockey leagues.....Loved getting sent to the AHL when I wasn't cutting it so I could get better. All of that gone....Thank god I still have NHL 20 loaded.
