So if you try to change the number when you edit your pro and get an error that's because the number is already taken.Good news though is the team is fully aware of this request and has it on their list. They definitely want to make it easier for players to make customizable changes like this moving forward. As for an ETA, I'm afraid I don't have that though. If we hear anything we'll let you know.

@Josh_Boomer14 You have not been able to change your jersey number in Be A Pro for 7 years now. (Since NHL 14)

I have complained every single year and it has never been addressed.
It truly is disappointing and ridiculous.

im having the same problem. I had my number 9 when I was playing in Europe but as soon as I get drafted it took my number away and gave me 12 . The thing I found weird I's there is no one on. L.A that using the number 9. Minus that it's identical to what you have experience as well.. isn't the whole idea of be a pro is to be yourself an individual with your own traits and tendency and number. Kinda goes hand in hand I would think. But don't worry nhl 22 will be for next gen so it will probably get striped of everything again as it did when in nhl 15 when it made the jump then to ps4.

In most cases we are not able to confirm as the team could shift in a different direction, so we want to avoid any miscommunication and false promises. We know this is a big request in the community and I was able to get some confirmation it's an area of interest they want to work on. I have no time-table though on whether it will be added in NHL 21. Hopefully we see it soon.

@EA_Blueberry Wow so just the ability to change your number in BAP might not even make it til next year?

Does that mean we might get the ability to edit players in FM given back next year or even by nhl 23, since it was taken away? Or are you at least able to confirm that it’s gone forever, just to ease our minds.
