I assume you tried the obvious by changing jerseys using your collection and going to said team, go to jersey, click on it and make it active?
Yep, and i even sold and rebought some jerseys, and nothing happened. It showed up under "my team gear," but when I went into an actual game, it wasn't there... After I came back out, it was stuck on the jersey that I couldn't change to begin with

Man, I don't know. Thats F'd up. Did you try selling the jersey you can't get rid of or sending it to the trade pile if thats possible? If that don't work i don't know what else to suggest.
