Can't hear some people in lobby.

When I am in a lobby I can't hear some people but I can hear others. When I'm in the club lobby I have the same issue. There are two club members that I can never hear, but as soon as the game starts ...

Do you have UPnP turn on?

If yes, do your friends have it?

    I don't think it's a router issue.
    last week, one of the people I can't hear brought his ps3 to the other person's house. They had both ps3s hooked up to the same network. I could hear one and not the other. Then when he brought his ps3 home I couldn't hear him again.
