Can't name my player in World of CHEL or Be a Pro due to Profanity

Every name I try using for World of CHEL brings up an error message as being potentially offensive. I’ve tried John, Dan, Dale. Nothing works. I even tried changing the last name from NHL to Nhl and still got the same message. 

Which seems ironic as my current name is borderline. I tried to change it to the default, but any name brings the warning message.

What happens when the bug occurs? Just bought nhl 22 for Xbox series x and can not change my player name from joe nhl to my real name which is james york . Apparently it’s offensive and goes against ea sports terms and conditions idk how that is even a thing but I’ve never had this issue with any other nhl game

Player name can not change from joe nhl to real name apparently my real name is offensive and can not be used this needs to be fixed 

I started creating my player, I put in “Andrew” as my first name but then I get an error telling me to pick a different name cause it maybe be used to offend of harass other players and breaks their user agreement. This is ridiculous 

It seems to be fixed now.

What's the full first and last name you are trying to use? Can you try entering in the last name first before the first name, or vise-versa?

I tried my own name, Dale Earl, and was flagged for both names. I can now enter a fake name, but my own name is still giving me the error. I’ve tried doing last name first as well.

I’m trying to make Xavier Laflamme on EASHL and it says I can’t use this name because of profanity but you can use the play by play name Laflamme fix this issue I’m just trying to have fun and play as Xavier Laflamme
