Cant Select Position EASHL

How many of you is this happening to? Something to try is clearing the alternate MAC address with these steps:

Go to your Xbox Settings
Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

My friend can’t play with us, when he joins the lobby it doesn’t allow him to select a position and ready up. We have tried this and it hasn’t worked. Is there a solution?

  This is a serious problem for me too. I literally cannot play. The game just freezes on select position. I have to uninstall the game everytime and that works for maybe a couple hours.

    Try changing up the team customization options. Jersey, arena options, etc. If that doesn't help, try changing up your player's gear. Also, if you're on Xbox, make sure you have a default gamerpic instead of a custom one and download the most recent roster under Rosters > Active Roster. Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

  I have been having this issue since 5 updates ago or so. I'm on Xbox series X/S. Tried all the tricks and nothing works besides hard resetting. Then it'll mess up one more time. I quit and reload and it works until I stop playing. The next day I have to do it all again. It also causes a sign in change when my headset dies. Can you guys fix this? It's been months. I pre-ordered and only had about a month of gameplay before these issues started and I'd appreciate a solution. I have bought and played many previous NHL games and never have I been so dissatisfied with the basic functionality of the game.

    What headset are you using? Is it possible the firmware isn't up to date?
    
    As far as not being able to ready up goes, this is one I haven't found a good solution for. If you have a custom gamerpic, try swapping it out for a default one. That has been known to cause some weird issues.
