Hey @MathG35 What kind of issue you are getting?
Thanks for the report on that site I have sent that to the right people. The servers are online and people are playing.

Exactly the same error that the OP. My internet connection is perfect, I work from home connected to a server all day and I never have any problem. Only in NHL... Already tried all the troubleshooting I've found...
Kind of sick of this issue... I'll retry tonight, but I'm pretty sure I'll disconnect again in the middle of a game...

I've played 2 games yesterday evening without issue. I've tried to play another 20 minutes ago and got disconnected before the first faceoff (at least...). Something it still wrong...
When it happened, I'm kicked out of HUT like the OP. Then if I try to come back, I'll have the "Network Connection Issue" window. I'll just retry a couple of seconds later and it will work. Until the next disconnection...
I'll also get disconnected from the HUT menus from times to times.

Basic troubleshooting, reset routeur, restart xbox, open reccommended NHL 18 ports. (My connection is wired by the way.)
Then I've done the following, which have been sent to me by an advisor. Don't know what else I could try...
CLEAR ALTERNATE MAC ADDRESS
1. Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternative Mac Address > Clear
2. After this shut down the console, disconnect the power cord from the back of the Xbox One and wait two minutes.
3. Once the two minutes have passed, plug the power back in and wait for the power bricks light to go from White to Orange.
4. Once the brick is Orange, start your console.
DELETE CLOUD SAVES
1. On Home, pull the right trigger, and then press A to open My games and apps.
2. Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game.
3. Scroll to the right, highlight the saved data for your gamertag under Saved Data, and then press A on your controller.
4. Choose Delete everywhere.
5. Restart Console
CLEAR PERSISTENT STORAGE AND POWERCYCLE XBOX ONE
If console is wired connected, remove Ethernet cable. If console is wireless, Go to Settings > Network > Select their Network > Disconnect.
Once it is back on, press Menu button > Settings > Blu Ray & Disc > Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage three times.
Follow these steps to power cycle your Xbox One Console:
1. While the console is on, press and hold the console's Xbox button for 5 seconds.
2. The console will power down.
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then turn your console back on by again pressing the Xbox button.
CHANGE PRIVACY SETTINGS
1. From the Home Screen, using the controller scroll left to the navigation pane.
2. Scroll down to Settings Icon.
3. In the Setting menu scroll down to Account.
4. Under Account, select Family.
5. Enter the password or passkey.
6. Select the account that you want to update.
7. Select the category of settings you want to update, such as Privacy & online safety.
8. Select the Adult defaults.
9. Toggle back to Child defaults and then finally back to Adult defaults once more.
10. Powercyle the console to complete the troubleshooting.
REMOVING GAMERTAG
1. From the Home Screen, using the controller scroll left to the navigation pane.
2. Scroll down to Settings Icon.
3. In the Setting menu scroll down to Account.
4. Select Remove accounts.
5. Select the account that you want to remove.
6. Select Remove to confirm.
7. When you're finished, select Close.
RE-ADDING GAMERTAG
1. From the Home Screen, using the controller scroll left to the navigation pane.
2. Select Sign in.
3. Scroll down to Add & Manage.
4. Select Add new.
5. Type the email address or phone number you use to sign in to your Microsoft account.
6. Enter your password. If you've forgotten it, select I forgot my password, and then follow the instructions to recover your account.
7. Review the privacy statement summary, and then select Next.
8. Select your Sign-in and security preferences.
9. Check out how you look on Xbox, and then select Next.
10. Choose your colour, and then select Next.
Note: The preference that you're currently using at home appears with a checked box.
11. Press the Xbox button on your controller to return to the Home screen. - Anonymous8 years ago

@EA_Atic : Any suggestion on how to get rid of this trouble?

Hey @MathG35 I can see you have done allot already, but there a few more steps you can to try out.
- Try another account on your console.
- Try another console with your account.
- Try your console and account on another network.
If the issue still persisting on the your own network, get in contact with EA support and do a UO-Trace and upload it to your case they will be able to help you more. 🙂

I've done a UOTrace yesterday and it looked good, no packet lost, good ping times.
Your other steps aren't easy to test, I don't have a second Xbox or another network I could use for an extended time...

Hey @MathG35 How was the ping best/worst?
Yeha I 100% understand that and its hazel to do,( had to that for FIFA 16 for my own XboxOne ended up with me dragging my xbox to work and connect it online play a few matches it was solved. issue i had was could not connect to ultimate team, I did all the troubleshooting at home), its only going to be more complex to test this kind of issue.
Most of those troubleshooting I posted above if you know someone with an XboxOne.
I still recommend that you that you get in contact with EA support and tell them what kind of troubleshooting you have done and attached uo-trace.

- Anonymous8 years agoIve had the same problem except now I cant even find an opponent. I just recieve a msg saying " Failed to retrieve data;please try avain later" followed but a long error code and there is nothing wrong with my internet.
- Anonymous8 years ago
Best was 27ms, worst 52 ms. 0 packet lost.
I'm currently tring to play with my Xbox directly connected to my modem and so far, it's working. I don't know which setting on my router could cause these issues...everything else is working fine...

Hey @jordanridd232 Thanks for the report.
Could we get a photo of that error code 🙂
@MathG35 Sweet!
I suspect its still working?

- Anonymous8 years agoI've had my PS4 connected directly with an internet wire to modem since day one, but the issue with disconnecting you from EA servers at any random time doesn't go away..
Contacted EA help, only thing they could help was sending the troubleshooting instructions via email that has helped every one else.
Unfortunately even sending them instructions takes time as I haven't received them...
